Innovative Customers Experience Service Disruption Caused By Damaged Fiber

St. Thomas, St. John and St. Croix, USVI- October 10, 2014– Innovative Telephone customers on the island of St. Thomas experienced an outage due to damages to the Company’s underground infrastructure.

 

LaVerne Reed, Director of Construction stated, “On October 9, 2014, Innovative was made aware that an unknown vehicle in the area of Subbase damaged an underground fiber optic cable. As a result of this damage to Innovative’s facilities, some of our business customers at the Cyril E. King Airport and
along the Lindbergh Bay Beach area were affected.”

 


Innovative technical crews immediately began working on-site and service was fully restored to all areas by the day’s end.
