Innovative Turkey Bowl Celebrates Its 49th Anniversary
St. Thomas, St. John and St. Croix, USVI – November 25, 2014- The Innovative Turkey Bowl, scheduled for Wednesday, November 26, 2014, will once again serve as a venue for wholesome entertainment and provide an opportunity to showcase talented, young local athletes.
This year’s celebration will include Traditional JV Flag Football All-Star Games and an Old Timer’s Game. The activities begin with the Championship game between the Bertha C. Boschulte Junior High School and the Charlotte Amalie High School at 5:30 p.m. The second game on the line-up will be the
Annual Innovative Turkey Bowl JV all-star Game which will begin at 6:45 p.m. This game features student athletes from the following schools: Charlotte Amalie High School, Julius E. Sprauve School, Gifft Hill School, Bertha C. Boschulte Junior High School, Addelita Cancryn Junior High School and
Antilles School. The evening will conclude with the Old Timer’s Game at 8:00 p.m.
Mark Daniel, St. Thomas-St. John Interscholastic Athletic Association President, thanked Innovative for showing unwavering support for student athletes in the Territory. “The St. Thomas- St. John Interscholastic Athletic Association football season is about to come to a successful conclusion and we are ready to end this remarkable season with the Innovative Turkey Bowl. On behalf of the players, I would like to thank Innovative for their continued support of the St. Thomas-St. John Interscholastic Association and the students who participate in the games,” said Daniel.

Kick-off is scheduled for 5:30 p.m. at the Lionel Roberts Stadium on St. Thomas. Admission is $5.00 for adults and $3.00 for students with ID.
